About Us

Back in 1999, I joined Oak Building Services to work alongside my business partner David Bedus. Together, we had an idea to help people like you find a builder you can trust. We wanted to go beyond just building and more towards establishing relationships to help you create your ideal home. I love taking care of my own home, and wanted to use my experience, skill and expertise to help you turn your ideas into a reality.

At this point, I understand that to most people building works are daunting, particularly if you don’t know who to turn to. But here at Oak Building Services, we like to do things differently.

We won’t pressure you and we won’t offer you any old solution without explaining what it is and why it’s the right solution for your home. But most importantly, we’re the good guys.

You’ll enjoy working with us because we’re a great team who just happen to be experts in our field. So, just who are Oak Building Services?

We are a team of friendly builders, painters and decorators based in Sevenoaks and Bromley in Kent.

Launched in 1988, we are an established player in the building trade. At the very core of our business are values that we set out to uphold with every relationship we develop.

Although it’s a cliché, we agree that you should always treat people the way you’d like to be treated yourself and that is with reliability, honesty and respect. We take this ideal and we apply it to our every interaction – we want to build a good rapport with you and the best way to kick start any relationship is by following through on our word.

It really is the little things that count

Once you are delighted with what we do, we will stay in touch to see how you’re getting on; we won’t pester, we just like to check in and make sure you’re happy with our most recent work, and see if there is anything we can do further.

If you do need someone like us to drop by and give you a quotation or to get some advice on what your options might be with a particular project, we’ll be here for you not just in the short term, but for the foreseeable future.
